Life Couriers is proud to announce its shortlisting in three categories at the 2025 Logistics Awards.
Now in its 9th year, the Logistics Awards honours organisations which showcase exemplary performance and standout operational effectiveness within the logistics sector. In partnership with Logistics UK, the event is described as “the leading awards event for the industry, by the industry” and is a representation of the sector’s top-performing businesses.
We are delighted to be finalists in three categories this year: Last Mile Delivery Business of the Year, International Logistics Business of the Year, and Logistics Leader of the Year for our Managing Director, Peter Smith.
Last Mile Delivery Business of the Year
This award honours businesses specialising in the final mile of the delivery process. One of the most operationally challenging aspects of the transport process, this final link in the logistics chain connects the supplier, carrier and ultimately the recipient of the delivery. In the case of Life Couriers, this last mile connects a patient with the crucial healthcare essentials that they need the most.
We’re especially delighted to have been shortlisted for this award, as 2025 marks our third consecutive finalist placing in this category, including our win in 2023.
International Logistics Business of the Year
This award recognises the outstanding growth, success and achievements of UK-based logistics entities who are operating internationally, necessitating cross-border collaboration and operational excellence across the network.
We have been shortlisted in this category for the first time this year, reflecting our continued growth as a business and impact across healthcare and life science logistics since joining the Life Couriers global group.
Logistics Leader of the Year
In a standout individual honour, Managing Director Peter Smith has been named a finalist for ‘Logistics Leader of the Year’.
The award celebrates individuals within the logistics community whose leadership and commitment to success inspires their teams and the businesses they lead to excel in their field of industry.
This nomination recognizes Peter’s strategic leadership and commitment to advancing standards in healthcare logistics both domestically in the UK and internationally.

The prestigious Logistics Awards ceremony takes place on 11th December 2025 at Park Plaza, London, and is set to be a memorable celebration of the hard work and consistent effort that is necessary to succeed within the logistics industry.
