We are delighted to receive the award of ‘Last Mile Delivery Business of the Year’ at the Logistics Awards 2025.
The award recognises the impact our Direct-to-Patient, Life Science and Radiopharma services have on patients in the UK and across the world – we continue to deliver industry leading success rates and an outstanding level of care that goes far beyond traditional final mile delivery.
The Logistics Awards
Now in its 9th year, the Logistics Awards honours organisations which showcase exemplary performance and standout operational effectiveness within the logistics sector. In partnership with Logistics UK, the event is described as “the leading awards event for the industry, by the industry” and is a representation of the sector’s top-performing businesses.
The event was held on 11th December 2025 at Park Plaza, London, and welcomed logistics businesses from across the UK, recognizing their tremendous achievements in this highly competitive and time-sensitive field.
We were honoured to have been shortlisted in 3 categories this year:
- Last Mile Delivery Business of the Year
- International Logistics Business of the Year
- Logistics Leader of the Year for Managing Director of Life Couriers UK, Peter Smith.

Last Mile Delivery Business of the Year
This award honours businesses specialising in the final mile of the delivery process. One of the most operationally challenging aspects of the transport process, this final link in the logistics chain connects the supplier, carrier and ultimately the recipient of the delivery. In the case of Life Couriers, this last mile connects a patient with the crucial healthcare essentials that they need the most.
Following our previous win in 2023, this latest award also marks the third consecutive finalist placing for Life Couriers in this category.
Reflecting on the win, Life Couriers UK Managing Director, Peter Smith said: “It’s a tremendous honour to have received this award for the second time in just 3 years. This truly feels like a testament to our hard work and dedication to improving the lives of patients everywhere. I’m proud and privileged to be part of such an outstanding team.”
